The institutional presence of ONCE – the National Organization of Blind and Visually Impaired -, is embodied throughout the elaborately designed canopy that tops the building’s façade. This extended copper cantilever cornice crowns the building, rising between the trees of the boulevard. An architecture piece related to the built environment, conveyed by rational and formal clarity. Its façade is patterned by barely recessed horizontal windows that favor the uninterrupted display of the stone cladding. This elegant and functional building, conceived to remain, has been designed down to the last detail for the users’ comfort.

La presencia institucional de la ONCE se manifiesta en este edificio a través del cuidado diseño del remate superior de la fachada. Un extenso voladizo de cobre corona el edificio, alzándose entre los árboles del bulevar. Una pieza de arquitectura proyectada atendiendo a la relación con los edificios del entorno, racional y de claridad formal. La fachada queda estrictamente pautada por la disposición de ventanales horizontales mínimamente retranqueados para así mostrar el carácter ligero de su envolvente de piedra. Un edificio elegante y operativo, concebido para permanecer y pensado hasta el último detalle para la comodidad de sus usuarios.
